Colorado Gov. Jared Polis signs SB25-003 FEDs must act to stop this unconstitutional law. If they do not, sooner or later the people will be compelled to do so, remembering from the Declaration of Independence: “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government…,” Federalist # 28 para 6, and Federalist # 46, para 9–and I would not blame them! That is the point of the 2nd Amendment: To throw off tyranny! Why are democrats so desirous to disarm the civilian population. It is not public safety, and SCOTUS has taken public safety off the table for consideration.

The Founders:

“… their swords, and every other terrible Implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American. What clause in the state or federal Constitution hath given away that important right?… the unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.”-Tench Coxe, Feb 20, 1788

“As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms.” -Tench Coxe, June 18, 1789

“all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government…”–The Declaration of Independence
